This is your one authoritative seller record. Every listing you publish shows buyers a WhatsApp Seller and/or Email Seller button using whatever you enable here - and verification below always checks exactly what you save here, never a value entered anywhere else.
A public seller identity - a first name, nickname, or hobby handle. It must be unique across PulseMyHobby Classifieds, but it is not an identity verification field.

How your contact details are used (POPIA):
Your contact information is stored securely by PulseMyHobby and is never shown openly on any listing, card, or public page.
Buyers only ever see action buttons such as WhatsApp Seller or Email Seller. When a buyer intentionally clicks one of these buttons, PulseMyHobby hands your chosen contact destination to that external application (WhatsApp or your buyer's email client) so the two of you can talk directly.
PulseMyHobby does not run its own messaging inbox and does not store or relay the content of any conversation you have with a buyer.
Once your details are handed to WhatsApp or an email client in this way, they may naturally become visible within that external application, the same as they would for any WhatsApp or email conversation.

3. SAMAA membership Optional
Sellers without SAMAA membership can still sell. Enter your name and SAMAA number exactly as they appear on the SAMAA membership record - your seller Display Name above does not need to match your SAMAA name. Providing a valid, matching number shows an "Active Member" badge on your listings.
